Since 2011, my research has been carried out within the CONNETS laboratory at the University of Milan. My current work focuses on edge computing for 5G and beyond, and on real-time mobile services for autonomous and remote driving.

Design and evaluation of routing protocols for opportunistic ad hoc networks that exploit mobility and proximity.

Urban Communication Patterns

Analysis of urban mobility, phone contacts, co-presence, and social behavior through anonymized mobile-network traces.
