I work on edge computing for 5G and beyond, resource optimization, and real-time mobile services for autonomous and remote driving.

I am an Assistant Professor Tenure Track (RTD-B) at the Computer Science Department of the University of Milan and a member of CONNETS Lab. My current research focuses on:
- The design and optimization of edge-computing resources for 5G networks and their evolutions.
- The modeling, analysis, and performance evaluation of edge-assisted real-time vehicle services for autonomous and remote driving.
My previous research focused on spatio-temporal and social dynamics of mobile users, the analysis of mobile phone traces, and the design and evaluation of routing protocols for opportunistic networks.
