I am Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Università degli Studi di Milano - Italy, where I am responsible of the research laboratory PONG - Playlab fOr inNovation in Games.
I have graduated in Engineering and Managerial Sciences at Politecnico di Milano and then got a PhD in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano - Italy.
My research interests focus on video games, with a special interest for the interpaly between technology and game design. In particular I am interested in understading the possible application of Artificial Intelligence to support the design of complex gaming experiences.
Currently I am the dept. director's communications delegate.
Togheter with with Dario Maggiorini I have founded of the Video Game specialization path for the master degree in Computer Science, of which we are co-responsible since 2014.
