My research interests are primarily centered on deep learning, particularly language models (such as ChatGPT and Gemini). Specifically, I am interested in the interpretability of these models and the reasons behind certain behaviors. A notable ICML publication that I am particularly proud of is titled By Tying Embeddings You Are Assuming the Distributional Hypothesis. You can view a complete list of my publications on my Google Scholar page.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Parma, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Milan, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Milan.
Currently, I am employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Science Department at the University of Milan, under the supervision of Professor Walter Cazzola.
I am also a research member of the PRIN 2020 project T-LADIES (Typeful Language Adaptation for Dynamic, Interacting, and Evolving Systems).
