You may want to know something about GEObject, before starting a remote execution.

The following instructions enable to run GEObject on your system. It will only work if your machine supports X-window. You will need to issue the following command from an Xterm window:

xhost + colos3.usr.dsi.unimi.it

If this is your first test of the geometric modelling system GEObject, you should read before the Handbook. There is available also a Tutorial on geometric constructions, with examples.

Please enter your display address, in the form:

full.ip.display.name:0.0
for example:
colos3.usr.dsi.unimi.it:0.0

Warning!
Because of the Netscape characteristic, if you're using this browser, it may happens that the GEObject's window would appear black.
If so, you have to exit from Netscape and re-starting it giving the option -install on the prompt line.
