GEObject - Interface

The GEObject interface consists of a window of your window system, composed of three parts: the Menu Bar, the Status Bar, the Work Area.

Menu Bar

The Menu Bar allows interaction with the program, and in particular allows you to open a new file, to open a file that already exists, and to exit from the program.

StatusBar

The Status Bar is an area of GEObject window put on the side of the Menu Bar, reserved for messages for the user: the program writes the actions that are consented in this area.

• Click on background to make geometric object
  the program is waiting for a generical action
• GIVE ME AN OBJECT
  the program is waiting the user to click on an object
• GIVE ME A POINT
  the program is waiting the user to click in the screen, to choose a point
• GIVE ME A SEGMENT
  the program is waiting the user to click on a segment

Work Area

The Work Area is the area of GEObject window where you can create new objects and exploit the potential of the program.
Clicking with the left button of the mouse in this area, two kinds of pull down menu appear: the first for the creation of geometric objects, and the second for the manipolation of the geometric objects already created on the screen.
