2000-2001: researcher for Poliedra consortium and the Laboratory for the Analysis of Mobility and Innovative Transport Systems (LAMSIT - Laboratorio per l'Analisi della Mobilità e dei Sistemi Innovativi di Trasporto), of the Politecnico di Milano
2001-2002: research associate for the Politecnico di Milano, working on fiberoptic network design (Alcatel Italy grant)
